[ARCHIVED] PSE&G Mt. Rose Substation Construction Update

PSEG logo

Dear Valued Customer,

As you may know, PSE&G has been actively working to improve electric reliability at our Mt. Rose Substation.  Below you will find some construction updates:

  • Updated Work Hours – Beginning Wednesday, July 7, PSE&G and our approved contractors will begin working from 7a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, as well as some weekends, as needed.  The extended day is required to ensure that we maintain our building construction schedule.  Every effort will be made to reduce inconvenience to our neighboring communities

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in the interest of maintaining the safety of our customers, our employees, and their families, PSE&G workers and PSE&G contractors follow safety guidelines put into place by the CDC and NJ State Department of Health, as well as all directives from the Governor’s Office and county/municipal governments. This includes that our workers practice social distancing and we ask that you also maintain a safe distance from our crews. PSE&G will not need to enter your home or business as a result of this work.

Safety is our highest priority. It is essential that you and anyone using your property, including children and pets, refrain from going near our work zones. PSE&G will work with the local police department to minimize any traffic concerns or inconvenience to the public.

We appreciate your patience and support as we improve the electric service reliability for your neighborhood and the region.  If you have any questions about this project, please call the project information line at 1-800-606-0045 or visit the PSE&G Transmission Website at https://www.psegtransmission.com

Sincerely,

PSE&G Public Affairs
