In response to Governor Chris Christie’s Executive Order No. 237, Hopewell Township would like to inform residents that the township will be accepting prepayments of 2018 property taxes in calendar year 2017, pursuant to relevant statutory law. If you would like to prepay 2018 property taxes, it must be done in person at the municipal building by December 29th, 2017 before 4:30PM or you may put a check in the mail which must be postmarked on or before December 31st, 2017. Hopewell Township highly recommends that any resident interested in prepaying 2018 property taxes should consult with a tax accountant to ensure that prepayment is in your best interest.
