On or about August 15, 2024, Mercer County will begin the replacement of the bridge on Carter Road over Beden's Brook in Hopewell Township. This bridge is adjacent to St. Michael’s Preserve. The project is expected to take approximately 9 months, weather permitting. During this time Carter Road traffic will remain open to the traveling public, with alternating traffic control. The closures announced in the original post have been cancelled.
