The Hopewell Township Health Department announces Air Quality Awareness Week, May 6th - May 10th, 2024. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency hosts Air Quality Awareness Week each year to encourage the use of air quality forecasts to protect public health and to understand the direct relations between air quality and health. This is especially important as the summer months approach. Be sure to protect vulnerable populations and children by reducing outdoor exposure when the AQI is unhealthy.
