As the weather gets cooler and the days get shorter, we have a lot to look forward to in Hopewell Township for the fall.
I am Mayor Courtney Peters-Manning with this video update for the month of September.
Happy back to school! Please remember to drive with extra caution around all Hopewell Valley schools now that classes are back in session.
A few dates to remember this month include:
The Senior picnic. Due to the rain this week, the Senior Picnic has been rescheduled for its rain date of September 15th at noon at Washington Crossing State Park.
The Hopewell Valley Veterans Association will be holding its annual 9/11 Memorial service on Saturday, September 10th at 11am in Woolsey Park.
The Hopewell Harvest Fair is on Saturday, September 17th at Hopewell Elementary School, from 10am-4pm.
Our next Township Committee meeting will be on Monday, September 19th, where we will have a second reading of our new ordinance creating a “no-knock” registry in Hopewell Township, where residents can opt out of door-to-door commercial solicitation. More information on how to sign up to be on the registry will be forthcoming after the meeting.
Finally, I’d like to wish a very happy new year to everyone celebrating Rosh Hashanah this month.
As always, please reach out to me any time with questions or concerns. I look forward to hearing from you.
