[ARCHIVED] Dave Guerard, Public Works General Foreman, earns certification

Public Works is delighted to share that General Foreman Dave Guerard has earned his Certified Public Works Manager certification. He successfully completed a 168 hour course at Rutgers and earned a top score on the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs exam. “It was a very challenging course with a lot of information in a short time. I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward to my next challenge. I always want to keep learning and moving forward,” said Mr. Guerard.

George Snyder, Director of Public Works, adds “CPWM certification is a great accomplishment. The exam pass rate hovers around 60%. Dave displays a genuine commitment to Public Works as well as the Hopewell community. It is an honor to work alongside someone who possesses such knowledge and creativity.” 

Mr. Guerard is a lifelong resident and committed member of the Hopewell Township community. Along with his wife and three kids, Mr. Guerard resides in Titusville, just down the street from where he was born and raised. In addition to his top role in the Department of Public Works, he also serves on the Deer Management and Woolsey Park Committees. Currently inactive, Mr. Guerard is also a member of the Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad for over 25 years.
