Hopewell Township, Mercer County, NJ - This month, Hopewell Township is featuring Animal Control for its Service Spotlight! Hopewell Township's Animal Control Officer is dedicated to protecting the health, safety, and welfare of both the community and its animals. Her mission is to promote responsible pet ownership, ensure humane treatment of animals, and enforce local and state animal related laws. Day to day, she responds to calls about stray or injured animals, reunites lost pet with their families, and helps prevent the spread of disease. In the attached image, our Animal Control Officer, Belinda Ogitis, can be seen rescuing a possum from a residents grill. Great job, Belinda!
