Notice of Road Work
Please take notice that Denow Road from Route 31 to Wellington Drive is scheduled to be resurfaced by the Township of Hopewell. Work is scheduled to begin on or about Friday, July 25th, 2025, weather permitting.
Phase 1 - On Friday, July 25th, 2025, and Monday, July 28th, 2025, traffic lanes will be shifted to permit milling of the roadway surface. Access is unrestricted during this period, however, delays should be expected. Please follow the directions of all contractor personnel and reduce speeds through the work area. Please use caution on milled pavement, as there way be loose gravel and irregularities in the surface. Bicycle riding, walking and running will be challenging.
Phase 2 - Starting on or about Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, Denow Road will be closed to through traffic due to paving. A detour route will be posted, and Township police officers will be present to assist residents and patrons in gaining access to the shopping center, the Chase Bank, Freedom Way, and Birchwood. All through traffic should follow the posted detour route. Delays should be expected. This work is expected to be completed on or about August 2nd, 2025.
