Hopewell Township, NJ – The Hopewell Township Committee proudly raised the Pride flag at the Municipal Building on Monday, June 2nd, at 6:00pm in recognition of Pride Month to support the LGBTQ+ community.
The ceremony took place just prior to the regularly scheduled Township Committee meeting. The event served as a visible demonstration of Hopewell Township’s ongoing commitment to inclusion and acceptance.
“Raising the Pride flag is more than a symbolic gesture — it represents our dedication to building a welcoming and inclusive community for all,” said Mayor Peters-Manning. “We are proud to celebrate with our residents during Pride Month and every day of the year.”
Attendees gathered in front of the municipal building to witness the flag being raised and share in reflection. The ceremony was open to all and drew strong support from residents, allies, and civic leaders.
