[ARCHIVED] Be aware of your health during this dangerous heat wave

Public Health logo

Record setting heat is not only uncomfortable, it can be dangerous. If you are hot and need a place to cool off, the Hopewell Township Municipal Building is cool and open. Hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm weekdays.

If you need to be outside or stay in an uncooled building, be sure to stay hydrated, wear lightweight clothing, avoid exertion, and take frequent rest.  Heat stroke is no joke. See the attached graphic. Get help immediately if you experience any of the heat stroke symptoms listed.
