The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission has issued A Request for Proposals (RFP) titled "Preliminary Engineering and Environmental Documentation for the Washington Crossing Bridge Replacement." The Township Committee has publicly stated their concerns about a possible bridge replacement's impact on the Township and have relayed these concerns to the Bridge Commission by passing a Resolution, available here: Resolution
Residents can voice their opinion to the Toll Bridge Commission by attending their monthly meetings. Meetings are held both virtually and in person at their offices located at 1199 Woodside Road, Yardley, PA. Instructions on how to attend virtually can be found on their website at this link: https://www.drjtbc.org/commission-meeting/. The Toll Bridge Commission is a quasi-public agency operating as a self-funded entity without tax revenue. Though there may not be an agenda item for the Washington Crossing Bridge Project, public comment is received at each meeting.
