To engage in door-to-door solicitation in Hopewell Township, companies must obtain a permit from the Hopewell Township Police Department. Upon receiving the permit, solicitors will also receive a list of addresses that have opted out, the Hopewell Township Do Not Solicit registry, which is also available on our website. Solicitors are not permitted to knock on the doors of addresses listed on the registry. To add your address to the registry, fill out this application and return it to the Clerk’s office.
The Township is offering free decals while supplies last for residents who would like to display them on their homes, but it is not necessary to display a decal to be on the registry.
