Did you know that only about half of vaccinated adults in New Jersey have received a single COVID-19 booster? As we navigate another Omicron wave, getting a booster shot now increases your circulating, neutralizing antibodies to help your immune system mount a faster defense against infection. Individuals who have not received any booster dose, and people who remain unvaccinated, continue to be at higher risk for severe illness.
