FINANCIAL ASSISTANT (Full-time) –Hopewell Township is looking for a detail oriented, highly organized individual to assist the CFO with day-to-day operations of the Finance Department. Job responsibilities include all aspects of the accounts payable system including but not limited to preparation of bill & claims; preparation of daily bank deposit; posting journal entries; preparation of bank reconciliations and office organization. Candidate should have the ability to multi-task; to work independently as well as with the team and to understand accounting concepts and procedures. Experience with Microsoft products is required and Edmunds software is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by courses in accounting is preferred. OEM COORDINATOR (Part-Time) - Hopewell Township (Mercer) is recruiting a civic-minded person to serve as Office of Emergency Management Coordinator. The Coordinator plans, organizes, and conducts various emergency management operations within the municipality, coordinates activities of the municipal emergency management staff, and does other related duties as required. Candidate shall have two (2) years of experience in the planning, developing, and administering of emergency management activities and shall have or complete the following courses within one year of appointment: Emergency Program Manager-FEMA Independent Study Course and Emergency Management Workshop-Basic.
