Hiring Off Duty Officers
(Special Duty)
Please contact the Hopewell Township Police Department at (609) 737-3100 ext. 530 to make arrangements to hire off-duty officer(s) for special duty employment.
All special duty work must be within the department guidelines and Township ordinance.
Special duty officer fees are set by Township ordinance. They are:
Normal fee - $65.00 per hour
Non profit fee - $55.00 per hour
(applicable to non-profit organizations/government agencies)
There is a four-hour minimum for special duty assignments. There is no additional fee for the use of a patrol car.
