PennEast Hosts Open Houses

Dear Community Leader,

In August, PennEast Pipeline Company, LLC, announced plans to construct the PennEast Pipeline Project.  This approximately 108-mile, 36-inch diameter, natural gas pipeline will originate near Dallas, Luzerne County, in northeastern Pennsylvania, and terminate at an interconnection with Transco’s pipeline near Pennington, Mercer County, New Jersey.

Today, we are pleased to invite you to our open houses.  The open houses not only will provide an atmosphere most conducive to providing you accurate information on the proposed pipeline, they also offer an opportunity for you to talk one-on-one with project experts. The PennEast Project team will be staffing stations dedicated to the topics of greatest interest to landowners, community and other stakeholders, including:

    ·   Safety and operations
    ·   Environment
    ·   Engineering, pipeline construction and restoration
    ·   Land

The open houses are one of several steps in PennEast’s commitment to communicating and working with you and other stakeholders.  Local input is important to identifying a pipeline route that will minimize impact to the environment and community while providing a safe and reliable way to deliver low-cost natural gas, stable supplies and overall reduced energy costs to consumers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

PennEast will host each open house 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. on the following dates and locations:
