The Hopewell Township Historic Preservation Commission was established on March 2, 2000 with the charge of developing regulations governing the designation, establishment and preservation of historic landmarks and districts within the Township

The Historic Preservation Commission meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Hopewell Township Main Administration Building.

Adopted Ordinance, Authorizing the Sale of The Marshalls Corner Schoolhouse”, Block 34 Lot 8

Members participated in the New Jersey State History Fair on May 2, 2009 at Washington Crossing State Park.

The group distributed their award winning “Design Guidelines” and had an attention grabbing, interactive “beam hewing and sawing” demonstration. Click below for pictures.
