The Township of Hopewell has recently enacted an ordinance requiring
Criminal Background Checks for recreation employees and volunteers with youth sports organizations as of January 1, 2007. This effort was initiated by the Hopewell Valley Recreation Advisory Committee in order to safeguard and protect our children throughout the valley.

There are TWO documents that coaches need to complete BEFORE
being fingerprinted:

Hopewell Township Police Volunteer Fingerprint Worksheet
After downloading and completing these documents, they must be returned by MAIL or IN-PERSON to our office in the Hopewell Township Municipal Building.
We must receive the documents with their original signatures.
They CANNOT be completed or attached on-line or in an e-mail.
Once we receive and process the documents, you will be called
by the Hopewell Township Police Department to make a
fingerprinting appointment.
