BULKY WASTE COLLECTION SERVICES
Bulky waste collection services are available January, April, May, June, September and October. To schedule a pickup resident must call the Public Works Office (609) 737-0799 Ext. 650 during business hours Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or leave a detailed message and your call will be returned and confirmed.  Pickups are made according to zone (see link below for zone map). There is no fee for your first pickup; thereafter, a non-refundable fee of $20.00 must be paid by WEDNESDAY prior to your scheduled pickup. This fee may be dropped off at the Public Works Facility or mailed to:

Note: After hours payment may be placed in the lockbox at the Scotch Road end of the Administration Building. Please place payment in an envelope Attn: Bulk Program.

Bulky waste items are to be ready for pickup by 7:00 a.m. on Monday of scheduled pickup week. The truck will not return for those who put out bulky waste late or for those who did not pay.

The amount of bulky waste allowed per month is 4 bags or boxes and ONLY 5 (specified) bulky items. The weight of the bags/boxes should not exceed 40 pounds each. Containers should be strong enough to support the weight. Wood fence is to be cut into 4ft. lengths (each length is an item) and all concrete must be removed. Building materials (plywood, sheetrock, etc.) is limited to what would fit into a 32-gallon container. Weight of container is not to exceed 40 pounds and lengths no longer than 5 feet.

BRUSH COLLECTION SERVICES

The brush collection services are available to those who follow the instructions below during the months of January, February, March, April, May, June, September and October.   No phone call is required except along Rtes. 29 and 31, resident must call 609-737-0799Ext. 650.

• Collection is limited to brush and tree prunings.
• Tree trunks and limbs in excess of six inches in diameter shall not be collected.
• Limbs should be cut to 5 ft length & small twigs bagged.
• All limbs and brush must be placed in an orderly manner with all butts (6” maximum) facing the roadside. The size of the pile may not be larger than four feet high by fifteen feet wide and is limited to one pile per property.
• Do not place brush in the street, gutter or within 10 ft. of any storm drain inlet per Ordinance No. 05-1356.

For the purpose of collecting brush and landscaping debris the Township is divided in three Zones (See Zone Map ). All brush has to be out by 7:00 a.m. MONDAY of your Zone’s week. Brush will be collected in Zone 1 during the week containing the FIRST Monday in the month; Zone 2 during the week containing the SECOND Monday; Zone 3 during the week containing the THIRD Monday. Along Rtes. 29 and 31 where a police escort is needed, the brush pickup will be the last week of the month. Barring unforeseen emergencies, brush will be removed sometime during that week for your Zone.

LEAVES COLLECTION SERVICES

Pickup months are: November, December & April

No phone call is required expect for Routes 29 and 31.  Along these routes please call 737-0799 Ext. 650 when your leaves are ready.  Some areas may experience delays due to volume or weather.

For safe and efficient collection please follow these guidelines:

Do not place leaves in street, gutter or within 10 ft. of any storm drain inlet per Ordinance No. 05-1356. Do not mix brush with leaves.

FREON APPLIANCE DISPOSAL 

Cost is $25.00 per appliance (non-refundable) and must be paid prior to pickup.  Pickup is the last (non-Holiday) Thursday of each month.

TIRE PICKUP

 Non-refundable Fee  $  3.00 per tire (16” dia or less),
                                   $10.00 per tire (17” dia. to 20” dia.)
Pickup is first Friday in May and November.
All tires must be off their rims with no water in them
