Hopewell Valley Office of Emergency Management- Advisory

 

HOPEWELL VALLEY OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT - ADVISORY January 27, 2015 9:00 A.M.

The Hopewell Valley EOC remains open and staffed. The current forecast calls for far less snow totals in our region then originally estimated. Light snow is expected to continue during the morning and is expected to taper off around noon.

Hopewell Township offices are closed on Tuesday January 27, 2015. All State and County offices are also closed. There are no roads closed in Hopewell Valley at this time.

The Statewide travel ban has been lifted. Motorists are urged to drive with caution.

Roadways are in good condition, the valley DPW’s, Mercer County DOT, and State DOT are making good progress on snow removal.

 If anyone requires assistance they should contact the Hopewell Valley OEM through our dispatch center at 609-737-3100 x0.

There are no reported power outages at this time.

 JCP&L customers without power should call 1-888-544-4877 to report their power outage or click the “Report Outage” link on https://www.firstenergycorp.com/jersey_central_power_light.html.

PSE&G customers with power outages or downed wires should call PSE&G’s 800-436-7734. Customers with a handheld device, or who are at an alternate location with power, can also report power outages and view the status of their outage by logging in to My Account on www.pseg.com, PSE&G’s mobile-friendly website. Matters of extreme emergency will be posted immediately using Code Red alerts.
