Road Closure Announcement-  PRINCETON AVENUE/HOPEWELL-PRINCETON ROAD southbound Wednesday March 25, 2015

 

Princeton Avenue/Hopewell-Princeton Road southbound will be closed for emergency road repairs today Wednesday March 25, 2015 from 09:30 AM until 3:00 PM.  

The detour will be Broad Street [Rt 518] westbound to Hopewell-Pennington Road [Rt 654] then make a left turn onto Crusher Road and proceed to

Princeton Avenue/Hopewell-Princeton Road southbound.  The road will remain open northbound [towards Hopewell Borough]

 

 

 

Wilfred Avenue Construction Work

Wilfred Avenue is closed to through traffic while under construction but passable at all times to emergency services, school buses, garbage trucks, residents and USPS. 

 

Road Closure Announcement         Pennington Titusville Road     

The Mercer County Department of Transportation began work on Monday February 23, 2015 replacing the Pennington-Titusville Road Bridge which crosses over Jacobs Creek.

Pennington-Titusville Road between Scotch Road and Bear Tavern Road will be closed to traffic at the bridge during this construction period which is scheduled to last six months.

The eastbound detour route will be Bear Tavern Road S/B to Washington Crossing Pennington Road E/B to Scotch Road N/B.

The westbound detour will be Scotch Road S/B to Washington Crossing Pennington Road W/B to Bear Tavern Road N/B.

Motorists should plan alternate routes during this construction period.

The department of Administration provides:

  • Management of the Township organization

  • Support for the Township Committee and other boards, committees and commissions

  • Project management

  • Personnel and Risk Management

  • Public Relations and Public Information

The Township Administrator position is established by ordinance to carry out the above functions of the department, review, recommend and carry out the policies and programs authorized by the Committee. The Administrator is the chief administrative officer for the Township and is appointed by the Township Committee. All departments report to the Township Administrator.

Currently the Department of Administration is comprised of five staff members that are responsible for:
