Pleasant Valley-Harbourton Bridge Reconstruction Project   April 27, 2015

The Mercer County Department of Transportation has begun construction on the Pleasant Valley-Harbourton Bridge which is approximately one mile west of Trenton-Harbourton Road (CR 579).

Due to the nature of the work, Pleasant Valley-Harbourton Road will be closed to all traffic on a 24/7 basis. Detours are posted advising motorists to use Pleasant Valley Road and County Route 579.

This work is anticipated to last approximately forty working days, weather permitting.

 

 

Milling and Resurfacing of Pennington-Hopewell Road

On or about Wednesday April 22, 2015, Mercer County DOT will begin a milling and resurfacing project along Pennington-Hopewell Road (County Route 654) between Marshall’s Corner-Woodsville Road and  Moores Mill-Mount Rose Road.

During construction, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM on weekdays, eastbound traffic along Pennington-Hopewell Road will be closed to through traffic. Motorists will be directed to Route 31 North and then right onto Lambertville-Hopewell Road (County Route 518) back to Pennington-Hopewell Road.

Westbound traffic along Pennington-Hopewell Road will remain open to traffic.

This project is scheduled to last at least two weeks.  

 

 

Bull Run Road Repair Work

 On or about Wednesday April 22, 2015, the Richard T. Barrett Paving Company, on behalf of Ewing Township, will be working on repairing Bull Run Road.

There will be some delays at times.

Motorists are asked not to park on the street during construction.

 

 

Wilfred Avenue Construction Work

Wilfred Avenue is closed to through traffic while under construction but passable at all times to emergency services, school buses, garbage trucks, residents and USPS. 

 

Road Closure Announcement         Pennington Titusville Road     

The Mercer County Department of Transportation began work on Monday February 23, 2015 replacing the Pennington-Titusville Road Bridge which crosses over Jacobs Creek.

Pennington-Titusville Road between Scotch Road and Bear Tavern Road will be closed to traffic at the bridge during this construction period which is scheduled to last six months.

The eastbound detour route will be Bear Tavern Road S/B to Washington Crossing Pennington Road E/B to Scotch Road N/B.

The westbound detour will be Scotch Road S/B to Washington Crossing Pennington Road W/B to Bear Tavern Road N/B.

Motorists should plan alternate routes during this construction period.
