Farmland applications for 2022 are due in the Tax Assessor's Office on or before August 2, 2021. The office will mail the applications in June. If the farmland applications are not received in a timely manner, the properties will be denied farmland assessment for 2022.
Changes to Farmland Assessment
Income $500 Gross Sales Criterion for the first 5 acres is increased to $1,000, except for lands under a Woodland Management Plan, which remain at $500 for the first 5 acres.
2016 Revised Gross Sales Form Income will be indicated on this form.
Properties where a farm’s acreage is less than 7 acres must include a descriptive narrative of the agricultural/horticultural uses, a sketch of their location and the number of acres devoted in the application.
